HCI full form is Human Computer Interface. HCI is known
to describe that how people can interact with new technologies like computers
and mobile phone. Over the years the technology has changed a lot it is also
called as Murphy's Law. There has been a
huge improvement. HCI has totally changed our way of living lives. There are a lot of different HCI technologies
all over the world but the main one is known as GUI (gooey). GUI full form is Graphic
User interface. It is a new technology
that allows people to interact and connect with the PC with the help of animated
screen and pictures on a computer.
Impact of HCI in society
Over a decade HCI had a huge impact on our today's society.
It impacted our society with making most of the hard things less complex for people
to use. HCI provide us the knowledge to use devices like computers. It made very
easy and possible to interact with devices such as mobile phones and computer
without even learning all hard and complex code. It is easy now than before
because in the old day’s only people that knew those hard computing codes were
able to use a computer. It is because you had to type in all those hard codes
in a command line to connect with the computer. Now we don't have to type these

Mobile phones have become important in our today’s world. The
introduction of a easy graphical user interface, means that anyone in society
can use the mobile phone with ease. New mobile phones allow for 24/7
communication, the use of the internet, using email programs, taking
photographs and using a communication tool such as Bluetooth. The mobile phone
in my own opinion has the most impact on society as it has vastly changed the
way that everyone communicates. It has
made it easier for people to make phone calls to people on the other side of
the planet, which is something that has not happened before. It is a much
simpler way of communicating with other people. However, the mobile phone may
have a negative impact on some aspects in society. This could be because in a
school or college environment, you will find that nearly everyone has a mobile
phone and it can be a problem with people using the devices in places which
they are not allowed to use them such as during a lesson for example. It can
also have other negative impacts on society in the way that the radiation that
is exposed whilst using a mobile phone may trigger such things as cancer within
a patient, something which is extremely dangerous.
Another example is Voice control software such as Siri from Apple IPhone is very powerful. It has become very popular in this century. Voice control is installed in most of today’s smart phones that are in every house these days. It is powerful software which let the user to control the device without using their hands they just use their voice to control the phone. In other words this software let users to navigate the phone by speaking to the phone. It has made totally legal for everyone to use our phone while we are driving by phone talking to phone while using GPS. There are some disadvantages about voice control.
Impact of HCI in economy
Human Computer Interface also had a super impact on today's economy. The complete use of HCI in a working place made everything possible for all those hard workers out there to become a lot more evolved with work and creative. It has totally decreased the chances of difficulties and the space of all the data input, which has made the
increase of individual’s speed of data input. The use of machines in businesses
has obviously increased because they are more efficient, easy to maintain, and
cheaper to maintain. They can now use robots with for example just one
worker controlling this robot to make sure that the job is completed. HCI has
allowed for graphical user interfaces on machinery such as the robots or for
example tills at the supermarket, so this enables them to complete a task much
quicker than they would have done previously. This means that overall productivity
has vastly improved and has allowed companies to produce a higher number of
goods with a lower cost.
Reduced need for face to face discussions
One major impact of HCI on the economy is that
because of different methods of communication such as emails and texts, this
means that there is a reduced need for people to communicate face to face. In
the business world, this would translate as less need to be in the same country
as someone to communicate with them as they can now communicate through video
conferencing which saves both time and money for the company and allows for an

products for bomb disposal reducing the risk of injury to the user/controller.
Remote controlled robots are not only used for bomb disposal, they can also be
used in planes, manufacturers and many others, these help greatly by decreasing
